Politics. Hatred. Endless war. We scroll through grim news while our rights are taken away. Bombings. Kidnappings. Amok runs. The evening news is a litany of brutality. Assassinations. Repression. Deportation. We fight amongst ourselves while the rich get richer and cruelty becomes the norm. These are just some of the reasons why The Casualties' new album is called "Detonate".
