With The Clearing, Felix Landerer creates a choreographic work that places the space of light - traditionally a place of orientation and openness - in the field of tension between opposites and incompatibilities.

The piece is a physical exploration of the desire to reopen boundaries and make quiet voices heard. The dissolution of darkness reflects the metaphor of penetrating a seemingly unresolvable thicket - an image of the search for clarity and the need for togetherness rather than opposition.

Carried by three dancers - Anila Mazhari, Aron Nowak and Luigi Sardone (pictured) - an intense yet fragile web of movement, tension and stillness is created. The Clearing invites you to enter a space for light, peace and possibly also reconciliation - a place of rediscovery in the midst of opposites.
