Since their formation in Copenhagen in 2009, The Foreign Resort have dedicated over a decade to refining a sound bursting with raw post-punk energy and immersed in dark melancholy. Their work is characterized by its diversity and tension, embodying both light and dark moods and characterized by emotional depth and immediate impact. (post-punk.com)
The Foreign Resort is best experienced live on stage. The trio tours relentlessly, addicted to the allure of lost highways and the joy of meeting their audience face to face. The Foreign Resort has worked with bands such as Cold Cave, Killing Joke, The Soft Moon, She Past Away and many more. Since 2010, the band has played more than 600 shows in North America and Europe and has performed at festivals such as SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, Canadian Music Week, Cold Waves Festival, Nocturnal Culture Night, Wave Gotik Treffen, Amphi Festival and W-Fest.
The trio released the album "Outnumbered" in 2019, the EP "The Rabbit Hole" in 2020 and "OutRemixed" in 2021. The singles "Resound", "Southern Skies" and "Endurance" are taken from The Foreign Resort's upcoming album, which will be released by Artoffact Records in spring 2026.
