As part of the Paderborn Rock Festival: Summit meeting of the St. Pauli blues rockers & the grande dame of the German rock, soul & blues scene Inga Rumpf. The band around the Hamburg rock shouter Gert Lange, often compared to Joe Cocker, Reggie Worthy (Ike & Tina Turner, Eric Burdon), Eddie Filipp (Sweet, Inga Rumpf, Clem Clempson Band) & the guitar shooting star Krissy Matthews ("This guy is the real deal"/Beth Hart), mixes hard-hitting guitar blues rock with soul, psychedelic, rhythm & blues, boogie & even excursions into jazz realms. This evening's special guest, Inga Rumpf, celebrated international success 50 years ago. Inga Rumpf, who grew up in Hamburg's St. Georg district, was already on stage at the age of 19 as the lead singer of the folk combo "City Preachers". She enjoyed international success with the rock bands "Frumpy" and "Atlantis" and toured the USA with superstars such as Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd . In 2005, a dream came true when B.B. King invited her on his farewell tour. Rolling Stone" once called Inga "Germany's only world-class rock, blues & gospel singer". The all-star line-up is rounded off by organist Frank Tischer (Miller Anderson, Spencer Davis Group). Other acts: Rockpommels Band & Rosalie Cunningham. All together guaranteeing a top-class musical night with a late, happy ending!
