The Kills - God Games Tour 2024

The Kills have become international rock stars, setting the pace of the genre and shaping and redefining the sound of the era.
With albums such as Keep On Your Mean Side [2003], Midnight Boom [2008] and Blood Pressures [2011], they have achieved hundreds of millions of streams. Most recently, Ash & Ice [2016] spawned fan favorites including "Doing It To Death" and "Heart of a Dog". They are the rare force of nature that can tour with Queens of the Stone Age or Guns N' Roses and light up Coachella. Their music can also be heard in dozens of television series and movies, including the Academy® Award-nominated film Children of Men.
When Alison and Jamie returned home from tour in 2019, they began writing for the project that would become God Games. But the old adage "Make plans, God laughs" couldn't have been more apt.
"We started sharing ideas and suddenly there was a pandemic," Alison continues. "There was this weird gap where the universe collapsed in the middle of the album. Sometimes you have to dig in uncomfortable places to find something good. I feel like we did that on this record."
