Dear families,
After deliberating amongst ourselves and with the Turbulence TXL team, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel our birthday party on Sunday, due to what is looking more and more like it's going to be uncertain weather at best - with a strong possibility of a rainy day.
This was not an easy call to make. We've spent weeks planning and building up excitement about this event, and we've been touched by all the pre-sales. We were really looking forward to celebrating the 2nd anniversary of this amazing community at a one-of-a-kind Berlin rave location.
But we also need to be realistic about the risks of throwing an Open Air for families in a place that has no cover from the rain. We had to ask ourselves what would be worse: calling off the event and regrouping for next time, or going ahead with a substantial risk of bad weather and wet kids. In the end, as organizers we also have a responsibility to the health of safety of families, and that has to come first.
If you have purchased tickets already on Rausgegangen, please be on the lookout for a notification email. Your refund should be processed in the coming days.
We hope to see you soon at one of our upcoming Kinder Raves this autumn.

--------
Come join us in celebrating two years of the Kinder Rave community with a very special party at Turbulence TXL... one of Berlin's most exciting new open air locations on the grounds of the old Tegel Airport. In addition to our usual mix of groovy house and techno music performed by parent DJs and live acts, we'll have a selection of food options and activities for kids - with plenty of space for your young Berliners to run around.

About the Kinder Rave
The Kinder Rave is a community of nearly 2000 families sharing a love for electronic music. Started in Berlin in 2022, our mission is to create opportunities for parents to enjoy electronic music culture with our children in a fun and family-friendly environment. In addition to organizing regular daytime rave events for a family audience, we also develop workshops and other educational activities where families can learn together and create meaningful bonds. Wherever we go, our goal remains the same: to offer unique and original experiences with music that parents want to dance to, in a setting where we can also have fun with our kids.

Reactivating TXL Airport - we are an international collective with various members from the art, culture, performance, and club scenes, transforming a former freight canteen at the Berlin Tegel (TXL) airport into a sustainable cultural space for open-air events, art, workshops, and raves.
