The Littmann Sessions: eine Pop-Gala

On June 22, 2024, an extraordinary musical experience awaits you at the Stuttgart State Opera. The "Littmann Sessions: a pop gala" present a unique collaboration between the Stuttgart State Opera, JOiN (Young Opera in North Stuttgart) and the Stuttgart Region Pop Office.

The four pop scholarship holders Abenaa, Laima Adelaide, Levin goes Lightly and Zweilaster are working together to create a unique performance that focuses on the opera as a home for musicians of all genres. Also taking part are the post-punk pioneers from Stuttgart, Die Nerven, who are also performing on the opera stage for the first time. The work of the Littmann Sessions will also be accompanied by dramaturges from the Stuttgart State Opera.

The Littmann Sessions were the result of an initiative by the Junge Oper im Nord to get the Pop-Büro, an important pop culture institution in the region, involved in a cross-genre project with the State Opera. This year, this idea is now being turned into an exciting performance on the opera's main stage, the Littmann Bau: The Littmann Sessions!
