THE MONSTERS
For more than three decades now, this cult band from Bern has been rocking the stage—all over the world, mind you: from CBGBs in NYC to the Sjock Festival to Muddy Roots, and everywhere in between, they’ve played every kind of show imaginable—and then some.
They also have a truly impressive number of vinyl releases to their credit.

In the process, they’ve created their very own, twisted universe! Garage punk, blues trash, boogie, psychobilly… they’re at home everywhere and nowhere, making all of it their own and combining it with their unmistakable, hypnotic beat.

On board from the very beginning: the founder of the legendary Voodoo Rhythm Records label, also known as Reverend Beat-Man. We’d be the last to call him an icon—and yet, in the European rock ’n’ roll underground, there’s no one quite like him.

It is therefore an indescribable honor for us to welcome Beat-Man and THE MONSTERS to the small Rottstr 5 Theater for their only performance in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2026.
