The Ocelots

Irish indie folk duo The Ocelots, consisting of brothers Ashley and Brandon Watson, will be touring Germany in 2025 with their second studio album Everything, When Said Slowly.

Between April and May 2025, eight exclusive concerts in cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne are on the program.

Everything, When Said Slowly will be released on February 7, 2025 and marks the band's musical evolution. The album combines indie rock influences with a reflective country-folk atmosphere created by open guitar tunings and clawhammer banjo. In addition to energetic live recordings, flutes, synthesizers, harmonica and harmonium provide a special depth of sound.

The first single About You (release date: October 09, 2024) offered a taste of the band's more ambitious sound, featuring chromatic synthesizers and jangling electric guitars. With an anti-love message, the track sets a critical accent against the increasingly narcissistic culture of modern songwriting.

Another highlight of the album is the single Australia, released today, which provides insights into personal issues such as Irish migration. "We wanted to capture that sense of abandonment and the self-adjustment that comes with it," explain The Ocelots. "In the pursuit of honesty and catharsis, we've created something that many can identify with."

Since their beginnings with the EP Till We Get There, The Ocelots have made a name for themselves through extensive touring and festivals worldwide. Their songs have been streamed over 1.7 million times. They have worked with the likes of Jack Johnson, Glen Hansard and Ocie Elliot and have wowed audiences on international stages.
