The Ocelots (Irland/ Deutschland)

In the organizer's words:

"The Ocelots is a project by twins Ashley and Brandon Watson. Originally from Wexford, Ireland, they now live in Leipzig, Germany.

"The Ocelots" used to be a school band that played blues standards and alternative rock during their lunch break. During this time Brandon & Ashley began writing their own music, taking inspiration from Bob Dylan and Simon & Garfunkel's folk sensibilities.

They finished school and backpacked around Europe, playing shows and performing on the road wherever they could. In 2017, they released their first EP "Till We Get There", which has 1.7 million streams online. Over the next three years, backpacking turned into a daily routine of touring and performing, headlining shows and festivals in Europe and Australia. They shared a stage with artists such as Jack Johnson, Glen Hansard, Hudson Taylor and Kim Churchill among many others.

"The Ocelots" have built a reputation for dynamic concerts with plenty of humor and storytelling. Their debut album "Started to Wonder" was released in March 2020 and features songs full of twin harmony and alternative folk born out of touring delirium and overconsumption of paperback novels. This year they will be touring the UK and Ireland with their new EP "Addlepated".
