Emma only wants one thing: to go to the prom with her friend. But in her conservative high school in Indiana, this is a scandal - and the prom is canceled without further ado. Luckily, four failed Broadway stars with XXL egos, glitter and a penchant for drama burst into Emma's life - and want to save everything.
