THE SCHIZOPHONICS

Explosive garage rock/punk from San Diego! The Schizophonics are known for their absolutely wild live show, reminiscent of MC5, James Brown and Iggy Pop. Fuzz-soaked groove, insane energy and a frontman who tears up the stage.

Formed in 2009, the band combines the raw spirit of 60s garage rock with the elegance of classic soul and the ferocity of punk. Influences from legends such as The MC5, The Stooges, Little Richard, James Brown and The Sonics merge into a fuzz-soaked, funk-driven assault on the ear canals based on pounding rhythms and wild energy. Every song hits like a punch. The band consists of Pat Beers (vocals and guitar), Lety Beers (drums) and Sarah Linton (bass).

Over the years they have toured extensively through fourteen countries, supported artists such as Rocket From The Crypt, Little Barrie and The Woggles and have opened for The Damned, The Hives and Cage The Elephant. The Schizophonics are currently finishing their fourth album, which is due for release at the end of 2026. Before then, however, the trio will be touring Europe again and playing in Trier for the first time.
