Since its formation in Manchester, The Slow Show has established a firm place for itself in the European music landscape with its unique blend of orchestral expansiveness, introspective melancholy and charismatic restraint. Their songs, carried by Rob Goodwin's strikingly deep voice and finely woven arrangements of piano, brass and string sections, unfold a cinematic power that goes far beyond classic song structures. In 2026, The Slow Show celebrates the 10th anniversary of their debut album White Water: "Ten years is a long time. Long enough for people to change, for cities to change, for love to end and begin again. Returning to White Water is a feeling we can't quite name. We play these songs now as different people, carrying a decade of life and everything it's left on us. It changes how we feel them, how we perform them. It's quietly healing.
