Ska concert at KESSELHAUS

Alongside Mr. Review and perhaps Hotknive, the Toasters are among the most important representatives of second wave ska. They almost single-handedly kept the 2Tone era alive for a while, reconciled 60s ska with the present, released tons of evergreens and became real icons in the process. "Offbeat pop at its finest!", Üni from Frau Doktor cheered on the occasion of their last guest appearance with us. In any case, the New Yorkers are also consistently great musicians, because in addition to the Toasters, many other fantastic projects thrive on their creativity, not least the equally great New York Ska Jazz Ensemble.
Now they are honoring us again - for the band's 45th (!) anniversary. What a ride!
