THE TWANG... have always been a bank live. Having started out as pioneers of country fication in the late 1990s, the big city cowboys now have hundreds of gigs under their belts. The band has toured Texas five times alone. With their Americana versions of pop and rock hits, THE TWANG still manage the unconventional balancing act of appealing to concertgoers who have nothing to do with country music. The repertoire includes country-influenced versions of hits by the RAMONES, ABBA, MOTÖRHEAD, PROCOL HARUM, MONSTER MAGNET, BACCARA, THE SEX PISTOLS and ADELE, to name but a few. In addition to great elegiac moments, chugging banjos and honkytonk romanticism, the band can still unleash a veritable cowpunk stampede. This is probably one of the reasons why THE TWANG have been on stage or in the studio with many rock and country greats. These include Bela B., Kim Carson, Eddie Perez and long-time Johnny Cash intimate Earl Poole Ball. Although always great fun, THE TWANG never slip into the ridiculous - the musical quality always comes before the tongue-in-cheek attitude that
THE TWANG have perfected over the past few years.

With his band, he brings the Bakersfield sound straight from Hanover and captivates with subversive lyrics that could also be heard in punk. A bit of politics, a bit of folklore - a lot of polemics and personal issues.
