The Wave Pictures are a band that have remained true to themselves for ages - with their wry, beautiful guitars, laconic lyrics and this honest, slightly eccentric style that is hard to describe but instantly recognizable. When David Tattersall starts singing, it feels a bit like someone walking through everyday life with a notebook in their hand and writing down everything that sticks: little observations, quirky thoughts, warm moments.
