Theater Mär: Ponti Pento

In the organizer's words:

Where do I come from and where do I want to be? The journey of a penguin. A research project on the subject of "home" by Kultur-WG Winterhude.

The story tells of the little penguin Ponti Pento and his search for his home. Ponti lives happily in a zoo. Until he learns that his roots lie far away at the South Pole. Curious as he is, he wants to find out where he really comes from. He secretly leaves the zoo and embarks on an adventurous journey to the South Pole, unaware of the adventure he is embarking on. He narrowly escapes dangerous situations, makes close friends and learns to test his limits.

In the end, Ponti finds a piece of his origins in the icy landscape. At the same time, he realizes that the zoo and all the friendships there also remain a home for him. So Ponti finally has two places where he feels at home.

Sometimes you have to set off to discover your roots - because a home can be more than just a place.
