THENOSES & wednesdayslot
THENOSES ...are the siblings Wanda and Jakob Nose from Kassel and Marburg. They enchant with their polyphonic singing and tell stories with their songs, mostly based on their own experiences. As singer-songwriters, both have been composing independently for many years. Since 2023, they have also been performing regularly as a duo on various stages. The songs, which they mostly write in English or German, are accompanied by their harmonizing voices and finely crafted picking on the guitar. Together with the harmonica, this gives their performances a folky flair.

WEDNESDAYSLOT AT THE MAINLINE LOT ... are also Wanda and Jakob, initially together with Michel Brill and Tilman Besse, the guitar faction of Chicken Jazz and Gumbo. The four musicians met in the winter of 2023 at a gig by the two guitarists in the Weinbergkrug and immediately arranged to meet up for sessions together on Wednesdays behind the main station - hence the name. With the addition of singer Ellen Schaum and drummer Paul Keßler, they are now six on stage and offer a versatile Americana roots program of folk blues rock'n roll & country.
