THINGS YOU MIGHT WANNA TOUCH: Pop-Up Ausstellung

In the organizer's words:

What makes you feel touched? Where does the impulse to approach arise and when does it remain unanswered?
What does touch mean when it is not experienced physically, but emotionally, internally or spatially?
Things you might wanna touch brings together artistic positions between closeness and distance, between physical and emotional touch.

As part of the module From Closed to Open Image (led by Maria Sainz Rueda), Master's students of extracurricular art education developed works that influence, inspire and counteract each other.
The examination of Umberto Eco's concept of the open work of art led to an artistic dialog in which openness is understood not only as a theoretical idea, but also as a sensual and emotional experience.

Touch becomes a gesture, a self-reflection or an open process. The result is a field of tension in which perception is not closed, but remains negotiable.
