An evening full of jazz, groove and big band power: the Think Big Band from Essen brings the unmistakable sound of a classic big band live on stage - with rhythm section, saxophones, trumpets and trombones.

Over the past three years, 17 musicians have come together around bandleader Christian Mallach to think big and deliver rousing big band jazz. Compact and harmonious movements, dynamic solos, energetic dynamics and a palpable joy of playing go straight to your ears and legs!

Whether you are a die-hard jazz fan or curious about something new - you can look forward to a varied program: modern arrangements, well-known jazz classics and the full, rich sound of a big band that you simply have to experience live.
