THIS VERY PRESENT

In the organizer's words:

Friends of the handmade and warm get-togethers: Something cozy is coming your way!

Because we enjoyed our last collaboration so much - and because we had the feeling that you felt the same way - we got together again: Julika Hartz, Lena Marie Lange, Caroline Timm, Isabelle Weber and Lina Herschel. Together we are creating a special two-day event - and this time we have invited even more designer friends.
You can look forward to a curated selection of silverware, ceramics and custom-made tableware, glass jewelry, interior objects and newly interpreted garments - as inspiration for the upcoming Christmas season. And if that's not enough: you can put together your own selection of curated cookies. There will also be punch and mulled wine.

In many conversations about the framework of this gathering, we kept coming back to the same idea - and finally to a title that sums it all up: THIS VERY PRESENT.
Each handmade object is a visualized "moment" in its own way. It represents hours of attention and skill - time that has taken shape. When we pick up such an object, we touch the presence of the person who created it - their thinking, their care, translated into something tangible. The handmade object thus becomes a bridge: between the presence of the maker, the presence of the visitor and a future moment in which the object may become a gift.

At the same time, we hope that this event will suggest something even gentler: That the very act of coming together - strolling, looking, discovering - can be a gift in its own right. THIS VERY PRESENT is intended to be a little break. A space in which we do not primarily consume, but rather perceive: each other, the objects, the stories in hands and materials. And perhaps this moment will remind us that sometimes the most valuable gift is simply the presence we experience together.
Let's pause together for a moment. See you there.
