Munich-based adventurer and travel book author Thomas Bauer has already experienced a lot.

Among other things, he has ridden a bicycle rickshaw from Laos via Thailand to Singapore. He has circumnavigated the Japanese island of Shikoku as a pilgrim and walked around the holy mountain Kailash.

As part of "Leipzig reads", he will be presenting the highlights of his adventure tours at tapir. Thomas Bauer will read excerpts from his travel books, answer questions about traveling and show spectacular pictures from Asia.

He will also bring along percussionist Tina Raithel, who will play live with him to accompany the travel pictures. Don't miss this very special journey to the highlights of Asia!
