Reading with double coach & Werder legend Thomas Schaaf

In cooperation with the Werder Bremen fan club Ahoi-Crew 05 Osnabrück, the DeichStube presents a special evening for all soccer fans: Thomas Schaaf and co-author Daniel Cottäus will be guests at the Lagerhalle in Osnabrück on February 25, 2026 at 7 p.m.

Thomas Schaaf is one of the most successful personalities in Werder's history:
- Double coach 2004 - German champion & DFB Cup winner
- German champion 1988 (as a player)
- DFB Cup Winner 1991 & 1994
- European Cup Winners' Cup Winner 1992
- DFB Cup Winner 1999 & 2004
- Over 40 years of uninterrupted service with Werder Bremen

The focus of the evening will be on the unforgettable 2004 double, which is still regarded as the highlight of Schaaf's coaching career.

Schaaf and Cottäus will read from the biography "Thomas Schaaf: An Icon of the Bundesliga" and provide humorous, emotional and exciting insights into decades of soccer history.
