Animal welfare in practice: Visit to the Bremerhaven animal shelter

A look behind the scenes Adult education center in cooperation with Tierschutz Bremerhaven e.V.

Would you like to get to know the animal shelter, its furry, feathered and armored residents and the work of the staff and volunteers? During your visit, you will find out what tasks the animal shelter performs and how it manages the care and treatment of around 600 animals in need every year. You will also explore the animal shelter grounds on a joint tour. The tour is accompanied by active members of the association and/or animal keepers and is not barrier-free. Both two- and four-legged friends are happy to receive a donation on site.

Depending on how many questions you have, the tour lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
