Tina Teubner - "Lieber schön alt werden als hässlich jung bleiben"
In the organizer's words:
Screamers rule the world; Tina counters with a vehement plea: "Don't think you can stand up to the madness if you're still looking as naive at 95 as if you'd just turned 15!
No support, no ground: there are no longer any final authorities that we can trust or blame. Parents are no longer strict parents, they're friends; teachers are no longer the enemy, they're just screwed; and God is queer - if he doesn't have burnout.
You can bury your head in the sand and, in your despair, give in to the shopping frenzy, the youth craze and the power trip. But you can also go to Tina Teubner. If in doubt, it's healthier. Tina has dedicated herself to the obsession of presenting you with a program that wrings humour and confidence out of these tough times. She is adamant that she will have finished writing by the start of the show. After that, you can throw your dystopian fantasies in the organic waste.
The press attests: "Tina Teubner is and remains the most exciting, enduring and entertaining woman on the German cabaret scene" (HSA). For 35 years on stage and 17 programs, Tina Teubner's evenings have become smarter, deeper and funnier every time. Her world theater doesn't need a revolving stage or real silk. She creates it with her heart, her razor-sharp mind, a microphone, violin, guitar, singing saw - and not least with her brilliant pianist Ben Süverkrüp, the man who makes pianos tremble.
Since the beginning of her stage career, Tina Teubner has been honored with almost every important prize for the consistently high density of her programs. First prize in the 1993 German National Singing Competition, German Cabaret Prize 1999 and 2010, German Cabaret Prize 2001, Gaul von Niedersachsen 2020, Salzburger Stier 2024 - and this year, on 9.11.2026, Teubner will be awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize 2026.
