The tipBerlin Girls Art Walk invites you to a joint art evening through the Mitte district on June 3.
tipBerlin Art invites you to an exclusive girls' walk through Berlin's gallery scene on June 3. Together, the participants will visit three selected galleries in Berlin-Mitte: Galerie Thomas Fischer, DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM and Anton Janizewski. Between contemporary art, conversations and a glass of sparkling wine, an evening is created that combines insights into the current Berlin art scene with a relaxed exchange.
In Galerie Thomas Fischer 's "Out of Nowhere", Noi Fuhrer will be showing large-format charcoal drawings in which fragmentary narratives, fleeting appearances and sculptural-looking pictorial spaces make it possible to experience moments of sudden emergence between perception, memory and imagination
A special highlight of the evening is the visit to DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM. There, participants will gain exclusive insights into "Holobiont" by Bernhard Martin - a 25-metre-long painting that functions like an exuberant hidden object picture. Body parts, animals, everyday objects, humor and dark allusions merge into a multi-layered visual cosmos between chaos, pop culture and art-historical references. The title, which comes from biology, refers to the interplay of different organisms to form a whole - a principle that is also reflected in Martin's painting.
The evening will end with a glass of sparkling wine in a relaxed atmosphere at Anton Janizewski. In her exhibition "Dead End", the artist Jiyoon Chung explores artist Jiyoon Chung uses a site-specific installation to explore how fear, insecurity and modern logics of security shape our everyday lives by translating the feeling of a psychological and social dead end into spatial and visual experiences.
