A look behind the scenes at the Berlin Museum of Medical History: taxidermist, curator and moulage expert Navena Widulin, together with forensic scientist Jean-Peer Krause, crime scene and evidence specialist at the LKA Berlin, opens the doors to rooms that otherwise remain closed. Between the specimen cellars, laboratory and dissection room, they talk about their everyday lives, about preservation, forensic technology and crime scene work: How do you preserve human tissue? What traces can appear on corpses? What methods are used to examine them? Afterwards, a get-together in the Virchow Cabinet invites you to exchange ideas. The evening combines medical history with forensic science and offers a rare opportunity to meet two proven experts in person.
