tipBerlin Kiezgourmet: Kaffee und Wein, der Balkan und die Adria in Moabit

Eight weeks ago, Thomas Kos (photo) opened his wine bar Sagma in Beusselstraße. A good reason to start this year's Kiezgourmet season in Moabit. But before the aperitivo, we start with a coffee and cake break at Garcia in Waldstraße, the best coffee bar between the main station and Tegel. And after the wine? We head to the Arminiusmarkthalle, where two restaurants have made a name for themselves with South Eastern European cuisine. The Slijva, a contemporary update of a Serbian pub with warm hospitality, and the most culinary Balkan grill in Berlin. And the Markthallenbar has inherited the Lesendro from the Kollwitzkiez, an excellent fish restaurant. We look forward to tasting both restaurants in the historic market hall.
