The queer stand-up comedian Tobias Born is currently touring Germany with his first solo program "FREAKS! - Neue Männer braucht das Land" (FREAKS! New Men Need the Country). The winner of the newcomer competition of the Dresden Humorzone 2026 and the Bielefeld Cabaret Prize 2024 combines trenchant humor with a clear social stance in his show.

With plenty of charm, speed and a good dose of glitter, Tobias Born challenges traditional role models and makes a powerful statement against patriarchal structures and for more feminism. At the same time, he unerringly gets to the heart of the absurdities of everyday life.

"FREAKS!" focuses on the supposedly weird sides of life - and celebrates the "freak" in each and every one of us. Whether curious game nights, passionate Thermomix enthusiasts or other everyday exceptional situations: Born shows how liberating it can be not to bend yourself, but to embrace your own individuality and make it visible.
