The Tom Wendrler Quartet plays original compositions by trombonist Tom Wendler. Stylistic openness, sophisticated themes and room for improvisation are the parameters of Wendler's music. Whether balladesque or energetic, the band always creates captivating moments that cast a spell over the listener. With Viomada, violinist and violist Aydın Bayramoğlu opens up a world in which every concert is a unique experience. His own compositions meet music that has accompanied him over the years - pieces that have shaped him and that he continues to explore anew. For this evening, Bayramoğlu has formed an ensemble that carries the open, narrative character of his music: spontaneous, lively and full of energy.

The name Viomada refers to the spirit of the nomad - to being on the move, collecting encounters, impressions and stories. Bayramoglu incorporates this idea into his music and takes the audience on a journey that ranges from quiet, poetic moments to powerful musical outbursts. In the JazzHall, this results in a program that does not adhere to rigid forms, but reinvents itself in the moment - in an exchange between the stage and the audience.
