What if each of us could contribute? When actress Mélanie Laurent ("Inglourious Basterds", "Beginners") and French activist Cyril Dion read a study in the magazine "Nature" that predicts the probable collapse of our civilization in the next 40 years, they are unwilling to accept this horror scenario. However, they quickly realize that the existing approaches are not enough to inspire a broad section of the population to take action. So the two set off on their journey. They talk to experts and visit projects and initiatives around the world that pursue alternative ecological, economic and democratic ideas. What they find are answers to the most urgent questions of our time. And the certainty that there can be a different story for our future.
