You and your favorite plant are invited to a concert in the sound garden of the Lichthof Theater rehearsal stage. Bring a potted plant, design the stage of our concert garden with it and let it become a musical instrument.
In a mix of living room atmosphere and industrial greenhouse, you will immerse yourself in the history and everyday life of the district between Karoviertel, BUNER, Messe, old slaughterhouses and Planten und Blomen (Segment D).
In musical scenes of classical music, electronic sounds and vocal improvisation, the singer Lissa Meybohm moves together with KreaStart, residents and pupils of the Nelson Mandela School at the interface between the hustle and bustle of everyday life and places of peace to breathe deeply and dream.
By the way: the concert is part of the TONALi festival. And there is a lot to experience in this festival - more concerts that capture the sounds of the neighborhoods, deal with current issues and explore the boundaries of the conventional concept of art.
- Note: The concert is the result of the first year of training at the TONALi Stage Academy and provides insights into the academy students' processes. As part of the training, professional musicians (20-30 years old) are given the task of utilizing the artistic potential of students and residents of the Kunstschutzgebiet and working with them to create a festival concert that reflects the polyphony and diversity of the participants.
Discover your artistic potential and help shape the Kunstschutzgebiet.
