ANNOUNCES THE "EIN ANDERES LEBEN" TOUR FOR 2025

The indie pop band Tonbandgerät will be touring again from February 2025 with their new album "Ein anderes Leben" (release October 2024). The eventim presale starts on Wed. 29.05. / 10 am.

Hamburg indie pop band Tonbandgerät will be celebrating their 18th anniversary next year and are inviting all fans to celebrate the band's "full anniversary" with them. Founded at school by Ole Specht, Sophia Poppensieker and Jakob Sudau, the band has established a firm place for itself in the German music scene.

The fourth album "Ein anderes Leben" will be released in October 2024. As a harbinger, Tonbandgerät have released the single "88 Luftballons", which deals with a controversial topic: the dangers of trivializing a shift to the right in politics and society. The album "Ein anderes Leben" sheds light on various topics that strike a chord with the times. It offers a look back at youth, growing up, the pressing problems of climate change and the threat of right-wing populism in Germany. This mixture of socially relevant topics and personal reflection makes the new album a special highlight in Tonbandgerät's discography.

With their "Ein anderes Leben" tour, Tonbandgerät not only want to present their new album live, but also take their fans on a musical journey through their career to date. Known for their energetic live performances, during which they regularly spread a good mood and encourage the audience to sing along, the three Hamburgers promise unforgettable concert experiences this time too.

"We're incredibly excited to finally be going on tour again. We've been in the studio for so long now and can hardly wait to present the songs to our fans in person," says singer Ole. "The new album is very close to our hearts, as it addresses issues that concern us and many of our fans."
