The passionate up-and-comer from Duisburg has brought a breath of fresh air to the stages of the republic in a very short time and made a name for himself with his unique humor and impressive life story.

Tony Bauer lives with short bowel syndrome, a serious health condition that requires a continuous supply of nutrients via a tube. But instead of letting this slow him down, he has decided to face his illness with a smile - and with comedy. His performances are honest, courageous and full of joie de vivre.

"We have to die a few times before we can live cool once."

This attitude characterizes his entire stage program. With wit, charm and the unmistakable view through his own "Duisburg-Marxloh glasses", Tony Bauer takes the audience on a fast-paced journey through his everyday life, his neighborhood and his hood.
