In the organizer's words:
What would I want to take with me when it's time for me to go? The novel "Pizza Orlando" is about, among other things, the death that lies dormant in all of us and the associated need to let go. Clara Umbach is not only an author, but also a visual artist. Using a variety of media (text, ceramics, performance), she deals with questions of identity and queer ways of life. Her works, often created in collective processes, have been shown in theaters and galleries.
After the reading and the discussion about the novel, we will talk about the meaning of objects in our lives and make our own "grave goods".
On the second date, we will learn the basics of glazing and paint our works: colorful and full of lust for life.
The event consists of two related dates. Registration is binding for both dates:
13.06., 11 a.m. and 20.06., 11 a.m.
