In this course you will learn the basics of hand-building (pottery without a wheel). The course is ideal for people who have never made pottery or who last made pottery "at elementary school". :-) At the beginning we will introduce you to the three basic building techniques: pinching, bead technique and slab technique. Then you can give free rein to your creativity and realize your own ideas. Whether it's a cup, bowl, plate, soap dish or candle holder - we will guide you through the process. Finally, we will discuss which color we should glaze your work in. Your work will be ready for collection approx. 4 weeks after the course. OPTIONAL: GLAZING COURSE As an alternative to our glazing service, you can glaze your work yourself. Book the introduction to glazing with dipping glazes (+€30). The date of the glazing appointment should be at least 3 weeks after your pottery appointment! FURTHER INFORMATION - You will create 1-3 pieces during the course. - All required materials are included in the course fee.
