For the next edition of eDEMi, Torture the Artist welcomes the Liverpool duo Dig This to Hamburg for a special day-and-night event, taking over both our pre-party stream at Sunyard and the dance floor at Haus73’s Anbau later that evening. Over the past few years, Dig This has steadily built a reputation through their Liverpool-based Zuku parties—a series of events that has hosted some of the most respected names in underground dance music while helping shape the city’s thriving scene. More recently, the duo launched Dig This Records, whose debut release by Michael Wagner quickly turned heads across the underground scene.

Fresh off appearances at London’s legendary Bizarre Trax anniversary celebration and their highly anticipated collaboration with Half Baked, the pair are now heading to Hamburg to showcase the sound that has earned them growing recognition far beyond Merseyside. Expect deeply dug House, Minimal, and groove-led club music delivered with the kind of patience and intuition that only true diggers possess.

The day begins at Sunyard with another installment of our recorded stream series. Hamburg favorite DJ Mille kicks things off with her signature blend of underground grooves and impeccable record selection before ICTV—one half of Horsemen and a driving force behind Off Hours—takes the decks. Torture the Artist founder Holger Breuer then takes over before handing the reins to the guests of honor for a special Dig This session.

As the night moves to Haus73’s Anbau, Torture the Artist resident Lukas Urbaum sets the tone before Dig This takes control of the room for an extended headline set. Closing duties remain in the trusted hands of Holger Breuer, who will guide the dance floor through the final hours.
