Circus of objects

How can time be made tangible? How can you give it a form, capture it in motion? That is the challenge this piece of art sets itself. In a fantastic universe between poetry and physics, object theater and circus, threads and chains glide through hands, run into vessels and find their own way. Gravity, movement, magnetism - a daring juggling act of time. Alternating between light and complete darkness, in a poetic and highly individual rhythm, the symbolism of the objects is conveyed through their kinetics, their sound and their lighting. Alexis Rouvre speaks of "looking at the back of the moment, which opens up, contains everything, fades away and yet always preserves everything".

The Compagnie Modo Grosso was created in 2015 from the encounter between circus artist Alexis Rouvre and dancer and visual artist Tiziano Lavoratornovi. One of the main themes is the exploration of the relationship and movement between objects and the human body.
