Berlin 2030: The backyard used to be gray, the bicycle cellar crammed full - and nobody knew each other by name. Today, lavender blooms there, tools and cargo bikes are shared, and neighbors meet up at the weekend to cook together.

With GemeinsamKiez, we support committed Berliners in making this vision a reality. With the help of concrete action recipes and sound knowledge from the fields of organizing and community building, participants learn how to set up their own neighbourhood groups and get involved with people from their immediate surroundings.

As part of our online training sessions on 24.01. and 07.03. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., you will learn how to become an organizer for a lively, liveable neighbourhood. All participants will receive a handbook and access to over 40 simple "action recipes" that can be implemented in 1 to 2 hours per week. The aim is to take the step from good intentions to real change - practical, feasible and collaborative.

Our workshop is aimed at all Berliners, is free of charge and requires no prior knowledge - just a desire for change in your own neighborhood.

Step by step, house by house, street by street and neighborhood by neighborhood, we are making Berlin beautiful, social and climate-neutral.
