Would you rather dance alone, or with a partner? Or should we all melt together into a puddle? How close do we dance? Do we touch each other, or might we find a way to “touch without touching”?

Dancing together means negotiating desires, boundaries, and differences. We create connection through “listening bodies” that lean into one another, share weight, or support each other. Every movement becomes a conversation: an invitation, an acceptance, a rejection, or a letting go.

In the second edition of TR4NTIPHONY, five young trans* dancers continue our exploration of dance as communication, this time with a stronger focus on consent. We explore this theme through movement, music, and poetry, asking what it means to share movement, touch, and cultural traditions. In doing so, we blend contemporary dance, ballroom, and drag with music ranging from punk, folk, and hip-hop to classical sounds. This cross-genre approach is our trademark ;)
