Is trash TV just a guilty pleasure? Not for Dinah and Franzi!

The podcast Trashologinnen goes on tour for the first time in spring 2026. Dinah and Franzi are psychologists, and in the weekly podcast Trashologinnen they take a psychological look at the most popular trash TV formats from Germany. Their mission is clear: they want psychology to be accessible to everyone. They do this by explaining complex topics relating to psychology using trash TV.

The Summer House, Are you the One and The Bachelors provide the examples, and the two use these examples to talk about the psychological background to the topics that interest everyone: Love, friendship, betrayal, group formations, discrimination, power and mental health. Entertaining and psychologically well-founded, Dinah and Franzi bring completely new scene analyses from various trash TV formats live on stage.
