Tribe Friday are a band of guitar-playing emo kids from the forests of Sweden who combine the raw indie rock dancehall sound of the early 2000s with the post-pandemic party mood of Generation Z. Optimistic songs about self-irony, identity crisis, love and death are characterized by sarcasm, wit and charm.

Tribe Friday portray the sound of a desperate small town with a hunger for something bigger. The band started as a project during their school days and developed into one of Sweden's most exciting musical exports through trial and error and constant reinvention. From their beginnings with jangling guitars and self-assured charisma to the introspective heaviness of their latest work, the band has consistently evolved, driven by the melodic instincts and songwriting of their frontman Noah Deutschmann.

"If you want to be someone in a small Swedish town, you have three options. You can play team sports - something I could never stand. Secondly, you can do drugs - that's fun for a while, but not exactly a long-term plan. And thirdly, you can make music. That's what the cool kids did. So we did that too." (Noah Deutschmann)

Tribe Friday caused an international stir with their debut EPs in 2019 and 2020, which led to worldwide tours and appearances on major TV and radio programs. Their second album "Hemma", which deals with trauma, roots and reconciliation, was released in 2023 to international acclaim, followed by high-profile tours with acts such as Wheatus and Mother Mother. After open air shows as special guests of Mando Diao, Tribe Friday now return to the stage with renewed purpose and a greater passion than ever.
