Tribute To Nothing

If you’ve never been dead, there’s no need to be revived. In 2008, Tribute To Nothing announced they were taking a break; in 2009, they performed one last time in Hamburg and Dortmund. The band didn’t break up—it was just supposed to be a hiatus. Since then, there’s been radio silence—until now. In October, the post-hardcore quartet will return to the stage just as suddenly as they left it over 12 years ago. At least for a short while, because after these concerts, it’s over again for the time being. Their album “How Many Times Did We Live?” turns 20 this year. Reason enough for a few concerts.
As early as the mid-90s, Tribute To Nothing had already made a name for themselves in the post-hardcore and punk scenes, even though they were still teenagers at the time. Tours with Boysetsfire and Hot Water Music followed. In October, LEAVES from Münster will be performing at Betty.
