Once a month, the old Leipzig exhibition grounds become a real treasure trove. Every first Sunday, around 50 to 100 traders meet here and spread out their most beautiful finds between the Doppel M and the Volkspalast. Furniture with character, lovingly used crockery, lamps with stories, toys from times gone by and all those things that you weren't looking for but still like immediately.

The market starts early in the morning and officially runs until the afternoon. If you're on the hunt for rare items, it's best to come early. Depending on the weather, some stall holders also pack up earlier. A little adventure is simply part of the experience.

It's a good idea to take a few bags or a trolley with you. You often think you're just going to have a look and end up with a new favorite item. Children also find little treasures here that seemed long forgotten and suddenly make them smile again.
