Tropical Mess is a Berlin-based experimental cumbia band formed by musicians from Chile, Argentina, Germany, Greece, and South Korea. Blending cumbia with elements of psychedelic rock, progressive music, and other Latin American rhythms, the band creates a distinctive sound they describe as “Almost Cumbia.
Known for their energetic live performances, Tropical Mess combines danceable grooves with exploratory arrangements, bringing a fresh and contemporary approach to cumbia-inspired music.
