Authorized personnel only! This exclusive tour opens doors that are otherwise off-limits. The impressive monuments to aviation research in Adlershof are normally closed to visitors. The GBSL e.V. will take you inside the test building of the Large Wind Tunnel and into the mysterious Spin Tower.
What happens to an airplane at high altitudes in windy conditions? What must an engine be able to withstand? What is the correct wing angle? The association’s experts will answer all your questions.
Since 1912, Adlershof has been a significant site for the early days of German aviation. Modern test facilities were built here, particularly in the 1930s. From both an aeronautical and architectural perspective, these buildings are a highlight of industrial heritage!
The event is part of the Berlin Industrial Culture Festival.
