We are launching a new monthly literature program in May, with host, author and recent Garden Book Award winner Martina Pahr. Every last Monday of the month, she invites several authors on different topics and genres.

May 27 - Poetry slam with 5 authors

June 24 - Poetry slam meets improv theater

Two very different art forms compete in the audience's favor when eloquent poets with sophisticated texts compete against improv actors. In the "contest of the arts", the poets first recite their texts; then the improvisers improvise a scene inspired by them. The audience decides which group has done a better job of realizing the respective theme. Poetry slam meets improv theater - simply exciting, entertaining and unexpectedly terrific.

The moderator is one of the co-developers of the format: Mic Mehler, a slam master who organizes the popular "Reimrausch" slam in the Munich area.

Lea Loreck, Bert Uschner and Martina Pahr will step into the ring for Team SLAM.

July 29 - Bavarian evening of humor

Bavarian is culture and lifestyle, but also humor! Far away from thigh-slappers at regulars' table level or proll ballads at the Wiesn, we present one of Munich's best writers, one of Munich's best songwriters and a one-off that combines both. An evening in a class of its own!
