TRUE ROMANCE takes the audience deep into the heart of digital romance scams. "Romance scams" are a billion-dollar business with perfectly constructed emotional scripts: Endless messages are used to sell a real and beautiful relationship, the best damn relationship you'll ever have! And it costs something. Until your bank account is empty. Until everything you have is gone.

Up to 15 spectators per show experience the work of three characters in a scam center. The immersive performance takes place live in the surreal office and via cell phones, which are handed out at the beginning and an app developed especially for the performance, with which parts of the action are played directly onto the audience's new devices.

TRUE ROMANCE - A play about the promise of love in the digital age. A play like a message from the person you love. A play just for you.

The play is in German and lasts approx. 80 minutes.
