A klezmer circus by Tsirk Dobranotch

Tsirk Dobranotch is a musical circus ensemble consisting of three interdisciplinary artists and the legendary klezmer band Dobranotch - a formation with almost 30 years of history that is known worldwide for its energetic and authentic performances. The ensemble combines traditional circus with the traditions of klezmer, Yiddish theater and humor. All members have an immigrant background and tell stories of movement, exile, cultural roots and human connection in their performance.

The entire show is based on live klezmer music and combines music, movement and clownish storytelling. The audience experiences poetic and humorous scenes, traditional Yiddish melodies, dance, pantomime and impressive aerial acrobatics.

This klezmer circus project is one of the artistic highlights of Dobranotch's long career - a colorful, vibrant celebration of music, diversity and joie de vivre.
