Discover the tufting trend: creative workshops at Café Hem in Leipzig

Tufting is not only a trend overseas, but is also slowly conquering our own climes. Originally from America, Australia and Korea, this creative technique is now finding its way to us. And where better to immerse yourself in this fascinating world than in the cozy ambience of Café Hem in Reudnitz?

There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the café so you can relax and prepare for your creative adventure. In an atmosphere of calm and inspiration, you can tuft your own rug within three hours under supervision.

The rugs have a maximum size of 45 x 45 cm, perfect for your first project. Before the workshop begins, please send me your design and color preferences two days in advance so that I can prepare everything for you. Come in comfortable clothes and bring lots of fun and joy!

The workshop begins with an introduction to how the tufting gun works and how to thread the yarn. You can draw your first lines on a test frame before starting to create your own rug. Under my guidance, you will tuft your first little work of art. Tufting is followed by the finishing touches, where we glue, trim and shave the work together to ensure that your design looks perfect.

The workshop will take place as soon as at least four places are booked. If the course is not fully booked, I reserve the right to cancel or rebook it.
